"I have
been playing guitar on and off for a bit but needed some
structured lessons so I came to Jason. I was worried
that I would have to start with a bunch of beginner
lessons but he quickly gauged what level I was at and we
picked up from there. He has an improvisation approach
which allows you to play along with any of your favorite
songs within just a few minutes, regardless of your
skill level. Pretty awesome. Our 1-hour lessons fly by,
and every week I'm wanting more. It's apparent he has
been playing for a long time. I'm always impressed at
the tips he gives when I can't get a song to sound just
right.
If you think you can learn guitar from some websites or
books, good luck - I tried that but Jason was the tool I
needed to get to the next level.
And on top of that, he's really laid back and extremely
friendly - definitely recommend him!" - July 21, 2010,

"Jason has been a great teacher...I have been taking
lessons from him for the past 4 months and have expanded
my abilities of playing the guitar vastly. He is
creative and keeps the lessons very interesting. He has
also made me challenge myself which is what I was
looking for so I would be able to grow quickly. I'm sure
he has the ability to cater to anyones needs and
ambitions. Definitely recommend." - August 17, 2010, by

"I took several lessons with Jason and found them to be extremely helpful in improving my guitar playing. He has a system wherein, you can easily learn to play by ear. I found myself being able to listen to a song and figure out what Key the song was in and all the chords in a song. I highly recommend him! You definitely won't be disappointed." - May 8, 2010, by Jonnas Ferma
"I found Jason on google and started taking lessons from
him to learn to play the guitar. My lessons were short
lived because I recently moved away from San Diego but
he is a legit teacher. He is very professional first of
all. I went to his apartment to have lessons and
sometimes we would meet at the beach. He taught me some
really basic things and as I got more familiar with the
notes he would ask what I wanted to learn in particular,
and if I didn't know he would always have sheet music to
offer to teach me. He offered all kinds of skill and
technique that I never even got the chance to explore
before I moved, but it's obvious his skill and knowledge
is broad. He is a patient teacher as well." - April 30,

"I've been taking bass lessons
since the summer of 2008. The main focus has been
teaching me to play by ear and technique. I already
read music, but that is hard to come by for bass. I
enjoy my lessons and find Jason to be fun to learn
with. He's even open to learning what we can teach
him in turn. A great quality in a teacher.
I highly recommend him. His fees are reasonable and
he works with you to make a schedule possible. :-)"

“My children really enjoyed their lessons with
Jason. He taught them music theory, piano, and
guitar and they learned to read music as well as
identify notes by ear. To incorporate community
service, Jason organized a Christmas concert at a
nursing home and the kids would perform and
socialize. I appreciate his introduction of music to
my kids!” - January 18, 2011

"Jason is the best. My 11 year old son
looks forward to his lessons each week. He is
inspired to practice every day and always says he
loves his lessons. Jason is easy going and very
talented. He relates well to his students and is
generous with his time. He has been teaching my son
how to improvise on his electric guitar which my son
thinks is a blast. We highly recommend him!" -

"Jason is awesome! He has taught my 12 year old son
guitar for almost a year now. He is very
knowledgeable, patient and fun and my son loves his
lessons. When he comes home from a lesson, he is
always excited and happy. Jason keeps him interested
and focused which is not easy for a 12 year old boy.
I highly recommend Jason to anyone seeking guitar or
any type of music lesson!" - May 7, 2010, by Susan
